Each election, CLCV analyses the environmental impacts of the state level races and propositions and produces an endorsements list to help our members vote their values.
We often get asked for advise on how to vote on local contests and local ballot measures. Though the California League of Conservation Voters doesn’t make endorsements in these local contests, 7 local leagues across our state do.
To help our members access these resources, we’ve complied the list below. Though they aren’t official CLCV endorsements*, we encourage you to check them (and while there consider getting involved with your local league) today!

*California’s local leagues, which are comprised of dedicated community activists, focus on electing and supporting environmentally responsible candidates for local public office. CLCV generally does not take a position on local races unless they have a potential major impact on the state’s environment or in other special circumstances.
Local leagues are independent organizations that make their endorsements independent of CLCV’s endorsement process.
